With the ceaseless development of LED display technology, the LED display has been becoming more and more important in display field. In order to achieve better display impression, LED display needs evaluation and correction, in which the image information of LED display needs to be collected. However the collection of image information is not done in the optic axis direction of LED. Thus, it is needed to establish an optical model of LED display to collect and research the illumination information of LED display and so on.The text analyzes the structure, luminescent principle and optical characteristics of LED, deduces the LED luminous intensity distribution function, based on the theories of radiation and photometry; combines the display principle of LED display establishes an optical model of LED display based on ideal conditions, considering its luminous characteristics, and gains the illumination distribution law of LED display somewhere in the end. By utilizing the optical model, the illumination distribution information of LED display somewhere can be collected and researched, then its display quality can be evaluated. |
