| With the information and communication technology and IP technology continuing tomake a progress, as well as the national information technology strategy, the internet andbroadband communication network have been greatly developed. Nowadays, the rapid increasefiber optic transmission technology, the information superhighway continuously expanding, newvalue-added telecom services such as IP telephony, video conferencing, video telephony,e-commerce, e-government, interactive games, video on demand, network television, networkstorage and other mushrooming developed, which based broadband video service streamingmedia services the most attention. In the near future,"triple play" has become hot spots, alongwith the telecommunications, broadcasting services of mutual penetration of IPTV technologywill bring a broad development opportunities.This paper belongs to the developer of class papers. Mainly relying on IPTV technology,new standards and norms, insisting on the principles of costs-saving, rapid deployment, effectiverealization, using the method of engineering analysis, the paper meticulously studies the networkstructure of metropolitan area, equipment status, routing, the selection of multicast, thedeployment of securing strategy and QOS; also successfully doing the current networktransformation that change the single service structure of the original IPTV network into twolevels of service mode from the provincial center radiating to every cities; with the delivery ofvideo content to the edge network, providing the nearest service for users, reducing the pressureof main network transmission, so as to effectively improving the quality of service. The papermade the following findings:1. In-depth analyses have been conducted of the current network architecture and scientificresearches have been done on the feasibility of transformation and deployment of IPTV.2. A more thorough study of key technologies of IPTV deployment has been carried out, mainlyrelated to the selection and application of multicast address allocation, multicast protocolselection, PIM-SM protocol deployment, operation control, access approaches, multicastsecurity and etc.3. A thorough analysis about the reliability and safety of IPTV deployment has been done; andeffectively applied into the network optimization and adjustment4. To ensure the effective operation of the MAN on IPTV, service data flow is not affected linkquality and congestion problems, timely introduction of QOS guarantee mechanism, the linkstatus of reasonable assurance sensitive IPTV business.At present, the transformation involved by this paper has been tested in the single boardonline, and good results have been achieved. Soon, it will be applied on a large scale throughbeing gradually promoted to the whole network. |
