| With the rapid development of the information technology, our medical and healthcare system is accelerating its pace in the modernization and informationization process. Many information systems run on platforms of medical and health care system atdifferent levels. An effective and safe information system is not achieved by piling upsecurity products simply, but should be guaranteed by a strict and scientific securitysystem. A disaster recovery and backup system is exactly an integral part of the securitysystem.Based on “Base Line Survey and Information Integrated Management†system, asub-project of a National Key Project of11th Five-year Plan “Large-scale FieldEpidemiology and Intervention Research on AIDS Prevention and Controlâ€, this papercentered about the analysis, design and implementation of its disaster recovery andbackup system. Firstly, the paper introduced the basic concepts, key technologies andstrategies of disaster recovery and backup, implementation of the system, as well asde-duplication and some related classical algorithms. Besides, the paper analyzed thedisaster recovery and backup system of “Base Line Survey and Information IntegratedManagement†system. With comprehensive utilization of sophisticated theories andtechniques of disaster recovery and backup, we developed a design solution for disasterrecovery and backup system, which is “Three Places and Two Centers†plus “DualModule Hot Spare†in the same city. Meanwhile, during the backup process of datainformation among production center, local backup center and remote backup center, weimplemented de-duplication by presenting and using a parallel two-round CDC, whichis improved from the CDC algorithm. At last, we selected sample data of different types to test the performance ofPTCDC algorithm, and then analyzed and evaluated the results. The experimentalresults show that PTCDC is better than CDC algorithm on both backup efficiency andtransfer rate. PTCDC can effectively reduce the amount of data transferring in networks, therefore cut down the bandwidth consumption and the transmission cost, and savestorage space. In a word, it achieves good results in general operation and effectivebackup of the system. |
