| With the development and applications of Data Base technology, more and moreinner history data taking on some characters such as separating-storage, disunity indata structre, data redundancy, data un-integration and so on, which makes it difficultto integrate these data. The large numbers of data reduces the accessing performance oftraditional system.What’s worse, it cannot be effectively used and then converted intouseful information to direct decision-making. Therefore, the data integration andanalysis becomes a widely-focused hot spot.The development and maturation of datawarehouse technology, OLAP (On-Line Analytical Processing) technology, and datamining technology have laid a theoretical foundation for this task.This paper isdedicated to the application research of relevant technologies in data warehouse. Thework is mainly as follows:Having studied the theory of data warehouse technology and its system structureand the basic theory of ETL(Extraction-Transformation-Loading). Besides, bycombining with the engineering management decision-making example, anengineering management data warehouse, based on SQL Server2000, is established.Furthermore, the data conversion and its loading process are studied and designed.Having studied the OLAP theory and its structure system, realizing methods andapplication in engineering management decision-making. By combining the analysis ofthe construction progress example, OLAP multidimensional analytical model isestablished. This multi-dimensional analytical model visited by Excel or MDX, show ahigh flexibility.Having discussed the data mining technology. Data mining could be introduced toengineering management decision-making. The elements which influenced theconstruction progress can be reflected by digging out the rules and explaining themode, which provides a scientific and reasonable basis for the decision-making in theproject management. |
