Management And Assessment System Of The University’s Scientific Research Based On J2EE

With the rapid development of higher education and the increasement of scientificresearch input in our country, the achievements in scientific research in the universityare increasing. At present, relevant user is in heavy workload and low efficiencybecause most of the management of Scientific Research in the university is completedartificially; besides, the assessment of scientific research achievement is lack of science.So it is really necessary to develop a set of management which is efficient, proper,perfect and suitable for the practical situation of the university itself which is in order toimprove the scientific management.Therefore,this thesis integrate the comprehensive situation of the present scientificmanagement of the university and take Pingdingshan University for example whichdesign and realize the system of scientific management and assessment in the universityby analyzing the actual demand of user which adopt the model of B/S and J2EE.Firstly,this thesis analyzed and designed the system framework, function, database andso on; Secondly, it does a detailing design and realization aiming to the projectmanagement, achievements management, Performance assessment, system managementand so on.It established the Quantitative Model in the module of feedback onperformance and did a dynamic evaluation to the research performance of scientificresearcher and scientific management depart by adopting DEA which to ensure theobjectivity of evaluation result.At present, this system has realized and passed the test, whose all kinds of functionhave received the expectation effect. The results obtained by the method shows that thissystem increases the efficiency of school scientific management in effect.Even, though this system obligates the interface, it still not realizes the integrationwith other system of the university. On next step, it will take the integration with othersystem into consideration; meanwhile it will adjust and optimize the standard andassessment model of scientific research achievement quantification according to thedemand of assessment of research performance by school.
