| With the rapid development of science technology and social economy, the limited Radio frequency (RF) spectrum resources are decreasing, while new difficulties and challenges of monitoring and administrating on spectrum recourses are increasing with a substantial increase in the level of variety of Radio communication equipments and an increasingly complicated electromagnetic environment. In this situation, Radio monitoring working is extending to microwave frequency band both for civil and military use. As a result, radar and satellite signals are widely used more and more. Hence it urgently need to improve the functions of radio monitoring equipments and achieve all monitoring of Short wave(SW), Ultra short wave(USW) and Microwave wide band radio signal.This paper, with a technical survey to achieve monitoring of the band of the electromagnetic spectrum (100kHz-6GHz), designs an overall program of the monitoring equipment.Today, all the domestic radio monitoring equipments are aimed primarily at conventional communication signals, SW, USW for instance. This paper, based on such situation, tries to design an overall program of the band of the electromagnetic spectrum monitoring system, which contains analysis of basic functions, technical indicators, additional functions, and formulates details on the equipment designs.Monitoring antenna-, Direction-finding antennaã€Radio frequency matrix switch〠Broadband multichannel receiverã€Super heterodyne receiverã€Signal processing extension and Application software design are6constituents of The band of the electromagnetic spectrum monitoring equipment. Each of their principalsã€technical indicators and other details will be clearly illustrated on this paper, as well as different processing modes under different antenna, direction-finding, receiver and signal chose under different frequency range which is selected by different characteristics of SW, USW and Microwave frequency band. In addition, a way of simulating the signal Frequency spectrum will be discussed on this paper based on the analysis on signal receiving.Research on this topic will lay the foundation for developing new technologies of the band of electromagnetic spectrum monitoring system and embodies its own practical value. |
