Nowadays world science and technology are developing rapidly and the consumption speed of land resource is growing faster and faster, while the ocean world which occupies more than two-thirds of the earth’s surface has the most abundant resources, and with its broad space and essential huge adjusting effects for the earth’s environment and climate, it becomes an important part of global ecosystem and human development. Ocean new and high technology, especially the development of ocean communication technology has already become a big theme of the world ocean technology. But the ocean communication technology at the moment can’t meet the needs of the development of ocean new and high technology, how to realize a real-time data transmission with high performance comes to be the development direction of ocean communication technology.In view of this kind of situation, in order to promote the development of ocean science and technology, this paper designed a set of data transmission and processing system of ocean remote float aiming to improve the data transmission performance and to provide a real-time data transmission technology. This paper presents a design scheme which has XTend, digital radio, GPRS and iridium in one, mainly include two functions:data sending and receiving with multi-mode data transceiver and intelligent switching among the four communication mode, data transceiving, display and storage with computer software.In this paper the main work to be completed are:embedded system hardware design, embedded system software design, user interaction protocol design, data transceiver communication protocol design, shore-based service center data receiving software design, and system debugging and testing.The embedded system hardware design is based on AT91SAM9260include the clock circuit, memory circuit, ethernet circuit, USB circuit, communication circuit, and the power circuit, etc.The user interaction protocol provides the mechanism of reliable transmission and flow control, in order to ensure the reliability of user interaction and data transmission with multi-mode data transceiver.The embedded system software aims to realize the user interaction protocol and data transceiver communication protocol, at the same time it achieves some other functions such as data storage temporarily.Data transceiver communication protocol has a basic function of data relay transmission and data frame filting, it can also be used for signal quality detection.Shore-based service center data receiving software completes the data sending and receiving, include data diagrams displaying and data storing in database for history data analysis in the future. At the same time, the software can also be used to configure the multi-mode data transceiver.When testing and debugging the system, each module of hardware and software should be tested firstly. Then the whole system will be tested in the laboratory. All the experiments prove that the data transmission and processing system of ocean remote float designed in this paper achieved the original design goal.At the end of this paper, it summarizes the finished work of the subject and the existing shortage. At the same time, it looks forward to the future development of the ocean communication technology and analyzes the future work and improvement to perfect this subject.
