Furnace is an important thermal equipment in the special steel plant. Its main task is heating billets to the required temperature for the forging technology, thus increasing billet’s plasticity and reducing its deformation resistance during the billets’rolling procedure. At the same time, the fuel consumption is urged to minimize as far as possible in order to get a good economic benefit. The control quality of furnace temperature closely affects the energy consumption of furnace, the steel products quality, the billets yield and even the operation efficiency of the whole forging production line. So, it is of significance to improve control level of the thermal furnace temperature.However, the combustion process and the heat-transfer mechanism of furnace are so extremely complex that the control model is difficult to be established, and traditional control methods are hard to achieve accurate and effectual control for furnace temperature. So this paper introduced a completely fuzzy control strategy for temperature of pulse combustion furnace via the combination of fuzzy control theory and pulse combustion control technology.Based on above questions, the main works of the dissertation include the followings:The problems that need to be studied and solved further in the control field of thermal furnace temperature are pointed out on the basis of summarizing the research and application state of thermal furnace temperature control technology both at home and abroad; It is analysed that the characteristics of fuzzy control technology and pulse combustion control technology, and then study the combining form of fuzzy control theory and pulse combustion control technology. Put this pulse combustion control technology to use in the fuzzy control strategy of furnace temperature at last; By numerical analysis and numerical simulation of the thermal fluid field in furnace, the distribution structure of burners is optimized; The design of fuzzy control system for the furnace temperature is simulated, and thereby verify that this method effectively improved control quality of the furnace temperature. It achieves the aim of energy saving and ejection-decreasing, meets the requirements of production and processes in the end.
