With the development of the Internet, Web2.0brings us the changes of thinking, method and organizational about applications of network informational education. Aselements of Web2.0, Ajax and RSS make network informational education quickly andconveniently. Therefore, there is great theoretical significance and practical value inapplying of Web2.0technology.In the light of the shortcomings of existing web-based instruction platform, theinefficiently managerial and operational effectiveness of educational information andthe reduction of system performance, the technology core and usability patterns of Ajaxand RSS are investigated. As to the problems in the existing web-based instructionplatform such as lacking of curriculum design, lacking of connection between teachinginformation and scheduling, verbose steps and bad timeliness in gaining teachinginformation, three new functional modules, including lesson-preparing office, coursesprogress and information subscription are designed in this thesis. Taking advantage ofthe traits of each usability pattern, Ajax is applied to lesson-preparing office and coursesprogress functional modules, and RSS is applied to information subscription functionalmodule.By analyzing the demand of web-based instruction platform deeply, Ajax is used torealize curriculum design by means of associating teaching information with courseschedule and changes browser pages’ overall refreshing mode into partly refreshing ondemand mode by means of asynchronous interactive mode. Therefore, it reduces thefrequent browser page navigation behaviors and the white Screen problems. Teachersand students can find desired instructional information in the easiest and the latesttime-saving way, their operational experience is also improved. RSS informationsubscription gives the default subscripting teaching information to teachers and students. The teachers and students can subscript extracurricular information by themselves. RSSinformation subscription fetches the XML file periodically. After judging whether theinformation has been updated or not by content aggregator, RSS informationsubscription lists all the new information in a uniform browsing interface. The information pushing pattern makes the collection of renewed instructional informationquick, effective and efficient.
