Network technology is developing rapidly, increasingly wide range of network applications, network intrusion, the transmitted virus worms, Trojan attacks and other network security issues have become increasingly prominent. The campus network as a multimedia platform for teaching, research, student activities, their safety is threatened. How to build a multi-level network protection system combining a variety of techniques, campus network is stable and normal run of great significance.Jizhong Vocational College campus network research platform, the development trend of domestic and international network security status and network security technology. Jizhong Vocational College the status of the campus network, a detailed analysis of several network security technology, design and build a combination of passive protection and active protection network defense system. The main work of the thesis:design and build Jizhong Vocational College campus network passive defense and active protection technology combined with the security system, mainly three aspects:the campus network infrastructure and security requirements, the existing campus network security system and application security, intrusion detection and encryption technology in the campus network in the active protection system.In this paper, the design and realization of the campus network security system has the following characteristics:a passive protection and active defense of a combination of multi-campus network security system; the use of firewall technology, VLAN technology, intrusion detection technology and data encryption technology; makesthe campus network confidentiality, integrity and non-authorized access has been guaranteed; better was to maintain a normal and stable operation of the campus network.
