| The coal-fired boiler is an integral part of heating equipment and it’s high energy consumption. Thanks to these characteristics, it is necessary to develop a boiler simulation training system and deepen the research potential in energy efficiency of the boiler. And there is far-reaching significance in the safety of boiler operation and the reduction of energy consumption through these works. In this paper, the mathematical models of furnace combustion, drum water lever and pressure are established using modular modeling method. Based on these models, the detailed simulation for a10t/h chain boiler is conducted using the Simulink software. For boiler drum water level and pressure models, differential equations are to get based on the trends and extreme solutions of the water lever and pressure. And an approximate model describing the relationship among exhaust gas temperature and the amount of coal and excess air ratio is constructed. This model uses classic datum as sample points and Matlab as fitting method. In addition, a detailed analysis of boiler heat loss and formulas is carried out. According to these formulas, the key parameters affecting the thermal efficiency are summed up and the appropriate measures are given to improve the thermal efficiency. Taken the lack of classic formulas into account, the corresponding corrected and simplified models are established. The applicability of the modified model is verified by taking actual operating conditions for example. The boiler operation energy saving evaluation model is established by taking the air chamber and grate speed as typical operation parameters. And the corresponding evaluation system interface is built by using VB programming language. The whole energy consumption evaluation system is introduced to provide new idea for the evaluation of boiler energy efficiency levels. This study realizes the simulation for parts of the boiler’s modules and adds a new energy-saving operation evaluation model, which has important significance for the security and energy efficiency of boiler operation. |
