Abstract/Summary:
With the growing size of modern industrial production and continue improvement of control system complexity, the requirements for automation and intelligence of field instruments also have been promoted. In recent years, owing to the invention of Android platform and its widely application, a new requirement has been proposed, that is, to combine the Android system with instrument monitoring.HART instrument monitoring system is mainly used for industrial field HART instrument for remote monitoring and fault diagnosis, including host computer and communications conversion module. Host computer can communicate with HART instruments via certain means such as Bluetooth, to acquire measuring data and status information of these instruments so as to monitor them. Parameters of HART instruments can also be configured with this system online. In this article, the research background and significance of this project have been introduced firstly, and then introduced some technologies such as HART communication and Android platform. In system design section, overall architecture design, hardware design and software design have been described respectively. In system realization section, HART-Bluetooth communication interface design and the generation of human-computer interface have been described in detail. Some application examples of HART instrument monitoring and online parameter configuration are given at last.
