| The visual system is one of the main organs of the human to obtain the outside three-dimensionalinformation, the human through eyes to access the outside information.The binocular parallax distance findingis one distance finding technology performed by the two-dimensional images, it has played an increasinglyimportant role on the military, aerospace, industrial, medical and other fields. The system of measuring thedistance with parallax includes image acquisition technology, camera calibration technology, feature extractiontechnology, image matching technology and three-dimensional reconstruction technology, the key technologiesdiscussed in this paper are the camera calibration technology and image matching technology.Some binocular stereo vision theories and systems of measuring the distance with parallax have beensummaried in this paper, and a solution of the system of measuring the distance by Complementary MetalOxide Semiconductor has been designed based on the performance of the distance finding system. This systemconsists of two industrial cameras, the range of thie system is from1000meters to1500meters, and therelative error of distance finding is less than5%. A simplified system of measuring the distance has been madeaccording to the actual conditions, geometric imaging model parameters of the system have been obtainedaccording the calibration of the system of measuring the distance, and then a series of ranging experiments hasbeen made using the system of distance finding. The distance values of the distance finding experiments showthat this system of measuring the distance can measure the distance within50meters, and the relative error isless than5%. The structure of the system of measuring the distance designed in this paper is simple, and itscost is low, so there is a certain value in use for this system. |
