Based on the network transmission,the new generation of remote moni-toring and fault diagnosis technology will become the new direction of develop-ment in this area.This paper designed a rheometer remote monitoring and faultdiagnosis sys-tem based VPN, based on a deep understanding of the related technology of re-mote monitoring and fault diagnosis and in accordance with the actual productionrequirements. At the same time, added VPN technology and artificial immune tothe design system,achieved equipment manufacturers can remotely monitor theproduction status of the remote device. When the remote device failure, devicemanufacturers can quickly and securely remote diagnostics and troubleshootingfaulty equipment through the network, improving products’ service efficiencyand reducing operating costs of the manufacturer and the risk of loss for the user.This paper in-depth discusses the VPN-based remote monitoring and faultdiagnosis technology,and makes a detailed analysis of the advantages of usingVPN technology in remote communications systems. At the same time,combined with database access technology, ActiveX technology and VPN tech-nology, this paper studied the system structure and system network security andimplementation.
