The flourish of computer technology pushes forward the textile CAD technological. Waved Photograph CAD, which has the most difficult technology and most complicated process in textile CAD, is also developing towards more automatic and more customizations. Under the background, this paper researches the algorithm of using custom yarns to separate colors, which is a part of color separation technologies for waved photograph CAD.Considering different combinations of yarns, this paper researches the color separation algorithms for two yarns, three yarns, four yarns, and more than four yarns separately. In the algorithms of more than four yarns, aiming at the problems of the complex procedure and multiple solutions in the present mapping and color separation algorithms of woven photograph CAD technology, this paper takes it’s characteristics and the actual fabric production process into account, and then comes up with a solution of mapping and color separation of woven photograph CAD, which is based on the compression of saturation in the HSI color space and divides colors into several parts to process according to the hues. It’s a simples but effective color separation algorithm, and resolves the problem of multiple solutions of mapping and color separation by multi primary. Experiments have shown that this solution is very effective in color separation.All of above color separation algorithms is realized in MATLAB, and then this paper brings in the technique of GPGPU (General-purpose computing on graphics processing units) computations which is very popular nowadays, and uses Jacket for MATLAB to get GPU acceleration for image processing. By comparison, it improves the speed of image significantly, so that it is possible to design remotely by real-time interaction.Finally, a method of realizing these color separation software’s networked application is elaborated. It invokes the MATLAB engine in C#.NET. Moreover. This paper has a primary discussion of problems in server load balancing, which should be consider in practical application.
