In the field of robot research, expression robot has become a new research hotspot inrecent years. To realize the facial expression, the research of Facial skin elastomeric modelis very important. The main research object of this passage is Facial skin elastomeric model,and according to research and analyze with the six basic facial expressions simulation,summed up the effect of facial expression realization and its influence factors.Firstly, by learning the domestic and foreign research achievement, summarized,summary and analysis the key technology of facial expression robot in system.Secondly, based on the analysis of facial anatomy, using facial coding system (FACS),studied and analyzed motion characteristics of typical Human facial expressions,summarizes the facial organ realizing facial expression motion feature region andmovement mode and numerical range, the range of values can supply motion parameters ofthe humanoid robot face elastomeric model simulation.Thirdly, it uses3D modeling software SOLIDWORKS and FEA software ABAQUSto establish the flexible elastic facial model of humanoid robot and apply certaindisplacement load in each facial expression controlling area. It builds the flexible model offacial skin which is analyzed and simulated with finite element analysis method. At the endit simulates six basic facial expressions of the humanoid robot (happiness, sadness, fear,surprise, disgust and anger).Lastly, with the simulation research, it obtains the driving force data of flexible modelwhich is in favor of the choice of motor. So the flexible face model simulation ofhumanoid head robot is significant practically for the total design of this kind of robot.
