| Radar imaging has gradually become the main trend in the development of radar technology, it has the advantages of all-time, all-weather, long-range and high-resolution imaging. BP imaging algorithm is based on the time-domain processing a precise radar imaging algorithm is a point-by-point imaging radar algorithm. Different modes for different bands, BP algorithm is able to man-made according to the requirements of the resolution set up a ground pixel grid point. It calculates each pixel to each position of the antenna the distance between the points along each scattering trajectory of the coherent superposition of the time domain, in order to achieve a high-resolution imaging.Although BP imaging algorithm has many advantages above, but the biggest drawback of the algorithm is to calculate the amount of great computational efficiency is very low. Based on these characteristics of the algorithm, the conventional DSP processor chip regardless of the demand of the arithmetic operation from the function or performance are not able to meet such high complexity. Therefore, the method of parallel processing is the only way to be able to achieve real-time imaging, that is, more than one processor core operations to complete the tasks at the same time, there is radar imaging algorithm from the algorithm level to improve the algorithm efficiency is improved. However, to explore a reasonable parallel processing method on a new hardware platform, the application characteristics and needs analysis is the most important basis of the hardware architecture and functional design.This paper describes the algorithm of BP radar imaging algorithm flow analysis, and algorithm feasible optimization, the execution time of the algorithm is reduced by40%.
