| With more extensive application of wireless sensor network technology, the demand for information quality and real-time applications is increasing. It reflected in real-time transmission of large amount data, such as video and other multimedia data stream. Currently, ZigBee is a mainly protocol for wireless sensor network, but there are still insufficient in the validity and reliability due to the limit of the transmission rate and the transmission distance. Wireless sensor network based on Wi-Fi technology will have greater advantage to get rapid development because of higher rate, wider coverage rather than ZigBee. With the rapid development of Wi-Fi technology, it’s time to widely apply Wi-Fi technology in the wireless sensor network. High speed wireless transmission will play a significant role in promoting the development of wireless sensor network.In this paper, the research mainly focuses on high-speed transmission applications in wireless sensor networks. By studying high-speed wireless transmission technology and the demand for transmitting multimedia data, design a high-speed wireless transmission system, which implements video data acquisition and real-time transmission to the server. The design of the system mainly includes data acquisition module〠wireless transmission module and data management module. By comparing several short-range wireless transmission technologies, high-speed Wi-Fi technology is the choice of wireless technology. The communication interface is the high-speed serial peripheral interface between wireless transmission module and data acquisition. Thus we implement the system’s high speed transmission. Data acquisition module is an embedded device Idea6410based on the ARM11, and the video captured by CMOS camera is treated on the Idea6410, and then transferred to the wireless transmission module GS1011.In the project research, build a low-power high-speed wireless transmission node and design a high-speed wireless transmission application on the node. The application meets the needs of video high-speed transmission in a wireless network. So the high-speed wireless transmission scheme has a certain reference value for high-speed transmission of multimedia data in wireless sensor networks. |
