Welding machine is widely used in LED microelectronics encapsulation.This thesis mainly discusses the control system of welding machine. The welding quality largely depends on position control and force control. In the process of welding,position is not accurate or force is too large that lead to damage LED chip. So research on positon control and force control is very important meaning to manufacture welding machine.Firstly,the process of welding wire is briefly introduced. The specific requirements which is introduced in the process of welding wire is put forward.Different steps adpot different control modes which are positon control and force control To complete the control system scheme selection, hardware selection, control system hardware design. Secondly,position control contain high speed section and fixed position section.A new method which uses PID sectional is proposed. It is more accurately than the conventional PID algorithm to control its position. the control system obviously is improved. Follow error is decreased. Overshoot is decreased. this method can improve location accuracy by Program verification. Moreover requiring high speed movement and low contact force, position/force swicthing control method which is based on the analysis of Servo output is used in this paper. This method is simple and easy to implement,.time during position/force mode swtching is shorten.At the same time speed curve is optimized. The experiment show that Contact force can be controlled within a certain range0.1to0.9N to To improve the efficiency and reliability. Finally, Welding machine control system software is completed to write.software architecture and system software function module is introduced. PC application software using MFC under the software development environment of vc6.0is completed.The task of PC application software is the core of background control for the whole system management and management of human-computer interaction.Experiments which contained the PID setting,system hardware debugging and software debugging show that this control system is effective and practical.
