| With the development of IPTV, high-definition video, interactive games and a series of high-speed services as well as the diversified demands of communication from home network users, home network shows a development trend of intelligent, high-speed, sharing, remote, networking and convergence of kinds of access technologies. On one hand, the millimeter-wave access in the home network is characterized by high bandwidthand flexible mobility, but with the short transmission distance. On the other hand, the fiber access in the home network has the advantages of high bandwidth and low-loss, but it is limited by its lack of flexible mobility. Therefore, this article presents the convergence of PON and millimeter home access network. And mainly studies on the key technology of PON and millimeter home access network includes the implementation scheme in the converged network, the transmission scheme of physical layer and the strategy of dynamic resource allocation in converged network, and gains a series of innovative research achievement. The main research work is lists as follows:1. In order to meet the need of high-speed services for users in home network, the scheme of the convergence of PON and millimeter-wave home access network is proposed, the topological structure of which is multipoint-to-multipoint structure based on N×N optical coupler and the signal transmission is combined the RF with baseband signal. In contrast with the scheme of the convergence of fiber and millimeter-wave home access network based on point-to-point structure, the proposed scheme has lower cost of the unit capcity and better performance.2. Faced with the problems of high complexity and poor performance in millimeter-wave technology with electrical processing, and taking the multipoint-to-multipoint topology in home converged network into account, a full-duplex millimeter-wave transmission scheme based on a FBG filter is proposed. The simulation results show that this system can produce a better performance millimeter-wave and ensure the correct transmission and reception of the base-band data in the converged access network.3. In the convergence of PON and millimeter home access network, the independent allocation of bandwidth in PON and wireless resource brings low bandwidth utilization and large delay. To solve these problems, a joint dynamic resource allocation algorithm based on multipoint-to-multipoint topology in the converged.home network is proposed, which dynamically adjusts the bandwidth parameter in PON to the change of wireless resource. The simulation results show that, compared to the joint static resource allocation algorithm based on multipoint-to-multipoint topology, the proposed algorithm can improve bandwidth utilization by11.5%and decrease the delay by75.9%. |
