| Along with the rapid development of communication technology, high-performance portable terminal is becoming more and more common, people are increasingly high requirements on the communication quality, but the access network bottleneck problem increasingly prominent. The people are eager to use of mobile terminals to enjoy high-speed mobile services, such as television broadcasting, video conferencing and fast data download.The deployment of fiber to the home has laid the foundation for future network architecture, but due to the characteristics of its fixed-line, while having a large enough bandwidth rate, but can not meet the requirements of the users to access the network anytime and anywhere, so it greatly reduces the user experience. The wireless access network has been more and more attention because of its flexibility characteristics, but the limited bandwidth is still one of the huge challenges for future wireless access network. RoF and FSO have made the seamless integration between wireless access technology and optical access network become possible. Wireless access network technology, however, still exists issues of large error rate, significantly delay, low throughput and shorter survival time, need further research and analysis to solve critical problems in order to meet the communications needs of today and the future.The proposed MAC key technology improvement program, relying on the next generation access network model integrated by EPON and WLAN, it is committed to finding more efficient MAC layer data frame communication strategy, so as to enhance the performance of data throughput and transmission delay. We firstly proposed a network model for next-generation access networks, and set the parameters of the simulation for the next step improvement program and reference. On this basis, we studied the enhancement technology of the MAC layer, and proposed improvement program, that is hierarchical frame aggregation scheme. Finally, we validated the scheme through NS2simulation. |
