Design And Implementation Of Test Control Module For Data Services In The Drive Test Software

Network optimization has existed since the network was invented and it keeps developing through the construction of our networks. The optimization of mobile networks works mainly for the maintenance and improvements mobile-oriented services, including the optimizations of core network, transmission network and wireless network, among which the optimization of wireless network is the most significant part due to its complexity and variability. Three steps are needed to complete the optimization of wireless network, which is collecting data, analysis and assessment, making the proposal of optimization. Drive Test Software is used for collecting data and helping to analyze the data.In China, the third generation of mobile communication has been set up for three years and its solid foundation has been laid by the spread of3G services. With the increase of number of3G users and the decrease of the fee as well as the prevalence of smart phones, data services will draw more attentions for users and will bring more profits to the operators. The design and implementation of data services test control module is based on the traits of data services and the testing regulation of China Mobile.This paper introduces based on TD-SCDMA Drive Test Software. The work that has been done is listed as follow:(1) Learn relevant knowledge of data services, including the signaling and testing requirements of data services. Test control module is divided into three sections:test control template file, user-defined test module and test Execution module.(2) Based on the signaling of data services, testing process framework devised by the combination of events is designed in detail. Based on the traits of mms(multimedia messaging service), web service and streaming media service, test Execution module are designed respectively.(3) Learn how to use AT command and use it to send multimedia messages; learn how to download web pages and use it to implement the function of browse web pages; learn how to use media player to play and record streaming media.(4) Learn relevant knowledge of UI design and its principles. Based on the needs of testing service, the UI of user-defined test module is finished. Based on the view requirements of the operators, test interface view module is finished.
