With the continually progress of science and technology, Communication technologies, such as3G, LTE and4G, become gradually mature and is widely used in practice. At the same time, network service providers expand mobile broadband services actively, so that the transmission speed of the mobile network has been constantly improving. Additionally, the emergence of the smart-phone operating system, completely breaks up the traditional Internet model, and extends the Internet services to the mobile terminal, that makes the information to be shared widely. Based on that, mobile video conferencing is developing. Compared with the traditional desktop video conferencing it has low prices, convenient configuration management and other significant advantages, that make video conferencing more popular.This paper does research on the key technologies of mobile video conferencing, mainly focuses on two video conferencing signaling protocol, SIP and H.323. We introduce some features of these two protocols, such as architecture, basic function, and then compare them from complexity, scalability and structure. And then do a brief analysis of the component and system model of video conferencing. Next, we do a detailed design and implementation of SIP-based mobile video conferencing client. At design stage, we do requirement analysis, overall design and detailed design. And at implementation stage, we focus on the startup and initializing process, the calling flow and message handling and dispatcher, the communication format between different modules, the user interface, call signaling and sharing document of the client. This paper also does some research on the quality improvement of the video conferencing technology, and implement the dynamic bandwidth allocation in video conferencing client, and also study the principle of lost packet recovery.After that we do the basic functional testing, interoperability testing and user interface testing of the video conferencing client. We design the test cases from multiple aspects to detailed test the client. And also test the performance of method of optimized video conferencing quality, and analyze the results.At last, summarize the paper, and propose the problems and deficiencies and the future work of the client, and then look into the future for the development prospects of the mobile video conferencing.
