In recent years, with the rapid prevalence of micro-blog, people’s lifestyle changes obviously, its impact to the society is becoming deeper and deeper. Meanwhile, studies on micro-blogs by the domestic and foreign scholars are more and more, but the research about dissemination effects of micro-blog is limited, especially yet lack of systematic research based on the composition elements of micro-blog communication process.Sina Weibo, as the leader of domestic micro-blogs, owning the vast majority of user resources, therefore, has a high research value. In order to meet the requirements of micro-blog users, its features have being improved constantly. The hottest topics list, one of its application, is demonstrating the daily charts of high-frequency forwarding micro-blogs by internet users.This paper integrated the knowledge of mass communication studies, sociology, psychology and so on. With Sina Daily Top10the most popular micro-blogs as the research object, according to Harold Lasswell’s "5W" communicative mode, the study probed into the effect elements in micro-blog communication process, and summed up the reason of its popularity, which has provided reference for improve the spreading effect of micro-blog and guided its benign development.In structure, this paper is divided into four major sections. The first part is the introduction, mainly described the research background, literature review, research significance, research objects and research methods and innovation point; the second part is a general overview of the popular micro-blog, mainly includes the concept, characteristics and function of the popular micro-blog; The third one is the main part of the paper, based on Lasswell’s5w spread mode, influence factors including micro-blog communicators, communication content, audience, communication channels, communication skills, are discussed respectively. Due to micro-blog spreading process manifested mainly by the audience, so this article will be feedback to the influence factors to the audience; The fourth part is the conclusion and suggestion, primarily summarized how to enhance the communication effects of micro-blog.
