Science and technologyliterature is the main carrier in the development of science and technologe knowledgeand also science and technology development process of the accumulation pattern. Therefore, based on a particular subject area a long time a large number ofliterature of science and technology key words collection system in-depth study canreveal the subject theme overall feature, immanent connection, development andfuture development direction. So, combined with the National Natural Science FundProject "Research on the combination of the speed of the knowledge extensionoptimization and sharing theory in knowledge super network environment"(ProjectNO:71071144),choose the knowledge management field as an example, this paperlaunchs a deep and systematic research on structure of subject theme and evolutionbased on co-word network.Mainly research work and contributions are as follows:First of all, according to the subject matter structure and evolution researchrequirements, selected microsoft academic search (MAS) database as a data sourceand use the API, developing the data acquisition procedure and obtaining theliteratures which is relate to knowledge management area and from1995to2010.Secondly, divided1995-2010into four periods.Then,based on source, removerepetitive literature, select high frequency words, and establishm adjacent matrix. Using factor analysis to classify keywords into several theme and naming for eachtheme. Do these is can lays the foundation to research on the structure and envolutionof subject themt.Thirdly, establish pearson correlation coefficient matrix, then use NWBTooldrawing tools, use pathfinder network map algorithm to establish four periods ofco-word network, and combined with factor analysis draw structure map ofknowledge management areas of each period.At last, according to the factor analysis of the contribution of each subjectthemes and subject between the internal keywords co-occur frequency establishstrategic diagram reveal hot theme in every period. And select the same or similartheme establish evolution strategy diagram, analyzing and summarizing evolution law,and predict hot topic in the future.This research provides the basis for the scholars know the development of thesubject,hot theme, and further clarify its research and application direction, target,thenconcentrate energy and force on these key area and make breakthrough. It also canprovide reference for policy makers to layout of the discipline, adjust the theme of aparticular subject area direction, promote the development of the future subject toprovide the reference.
