Abstract/Summary:
As Vehicular Ad Hoc Networks (VANETs) are a special kind of Ad Hoc networks, the applications of VANETs are more and more widely, which are expected that VANETs will play an important role in wireless communications services market in the future. With the development of the diversify network applications, multimedia services gradually get into people’s lives. Users can easily create, share and browse the multimedia data almost at any time. So the services have gradually become a mainstream application on the network. The multimedia file sharing has been widely supported, which becomes the biggest application of Internet traffic. Multimedia information has become a trend in VANETs. In spite of the numerous advantages by launching VANETs, the problem of identity privacy has to be well addressed before we put these application scenarios into practice. When people are enjoying the VANETs, VANETs bring new life and new consumption patterns at the same time and also bring new challenges and threats. In the constraints of the limited resources, high mobility and the intermittent connection of VANETs, both multimedia information download and increasing the satisfaction of multimedia information are the important challenges. For these two problems, this paper mainly studies based on identity privacy and the game of multimedia information distribution in VANETs.Firstly, the paper introduced the related knowledge and technology of Ad Hoc networks, VANETs and the game. Then, we introduced the concept, the characteristics and application of VANETs. There are V2V and V2R communication ways in the network, which meet the communication needs of VANETs. We gave the hierarchical structure model. The process of the wireless signal transmission will lead to the signal leakage. In order to solve the problem, we put forward a method of using dynamic ID. which can well solve the vehicle identity privacy issues, when the vehicles of VANETs are in a fast moving.Secondly, we build a multimedia information download model. In order to improve the download speed of multimedia information we needs cooperate with the vehicles. This paper uses a tit-for-tat repeated game strategy, to incent the cooperation between the vehicles, to improve the delivery rate, to reduce the download latency, and increase the speed download of multimedia information. The satisfaction model is built based on the parameters of the delivery rate and the download delay, which can be used to evaluate the multimedia information download. According to results of the model, we can control the next download service and improve the satisfaction of the multimedia information. The game can effectively promote cooperation between the users, which can provide the efficiency of multimedia information distribution. Therefore, it has a great significance on researching the multimedia information distribution-based the game, which provides support the user experience the multimedia services.
