| With the development of urbanization and the wide application of GIS technology, to further standardize the urban underground pipeline, strengthen urban comprehensive underground pipeline management, real-time updates to maintain the status quo of urban underground pipeline information, improve the efficiency of query, pipelines and facilities to ascertain the base, to prevent pipeline accidents, ensure good operation of urban underground pipeline, construction of efficient urban underground pipeline information management system has become necessary to urban underground pipeline management in modern society.Based on the analysis and research the theory and technology of urban underground pipelines at home and abroad, on the basis of reference to focus on classical case of urban underground pipeline management, focuses on the present domestic situation of urban underground pipelines after sufficient demand research and analysis, found the deficiencies of the current urban underground pipeline, combining with the world’s leading platform for the GIS, and large Oracle10g database, gives the subject of the design goals and tasks, and accords with the demand of the urban underground pipeline management, combining with the actual request and business processes, design based on the urban pipeline of the urban underground pipeline information management system, the vector of the urban underground pipeline, such as scientific, standardized, automated information management.This paper first analysis technique based on the construction of city integrated underground pipeline information management system, combined with highly confidential character of the city pipeline data, using the C/S framework design of traditional pattern, spatial data server and data server after the end of the base, client focus on the development of city underground pipeline information management system. Then, the use of unified modeling language UML to complete the system needs analysis, and general design and detailed design of the system, designed the function modules and system architecture of the system. Thirdly, based on the system design, combined with database theory and the status quo of city underground pipeline, the design of spatial database and services database, and several important modules of the system design.
