Analysis And Application Of The New Windows Operating System’s Security

The privilege is quite important to the operating system’s security. If there are some ways to bypass the user’s approval and system’s protection to get the administrator’s privilege, then it means you have bypassed the system’s protection and controlled the system. So whether have taken some effective measures to protect the user’s privileges is an important factor to the system’s security.It is the first problem to protect the user privileges in case of system security. No matter what kind of system, Windows, Linux or others, it will take some measures or add some components to keep the privileges safe. Such as setting level, improving protecting method and release update patches. It is a long-term challenge to penetrate the system to get the administrator privileges, since the make up to the old defects and the adding of some new functions will always impact the penetration.We need to keep searching to find a new way to obtain the privileges.There are many kinds of Operating Systems. This article will mainly target on the Windows, especially the newly publish system Windows8. It analysis the privilege protect mechanism and some protect measures, such as the newly added functions UEFI Secure Boot and enhanced Windows Defender. It need some research to find out whether the new system still has some defects on the security of privileges.This article has done the following parts of work:1. Annotates the security of Windows, introduce its related background and some development now and before briefly.2.Do some research and analysis on the user privileges protection mechanism of Windows. Introduce the class of user privileges and some related protection. And discuss some bypass methods to different protection. Then do some research on the security’s promotion of Windows8.3.Do some research and analysis to the improvement measures in the system security of the new operating system. And try to find out some defects on user privilege protection of the new operating system. And do some experiment to valid the defects is available.4.With some deep discuss we try to figure out a solution that may be able to elevate privileges.According to the solution, we try to do some programming and testing to verify its reliability. Then we can make some conclusion about whether the new operating system is safe enough and also provide a new way in software penetration.
