Development Of Wire Rope Local Detection Software System

The wire rope is widely used in engineering fields as one of the most important bearing parts, so the security of the wire rope has always been paid great attention. Therefore, great significance will be brought if a steady and reliable wire rope nondestructive testing system is researched.First, the current research of wire rope nondestructive testing technology is analysed in this paper. Then, the local wire rope fault detection software system is developed when magnetic leakage detection instrument designed by predecessors in the laboratory is based. The multithreaded programming technology is used in the software system so that effective data is successfully shared in data acquisition thread、data processing thread、alarming and communication thread as well as interaction controlling. Software technologies of ADO、Socket、COM and some other technologies are used in software development which is based on Visual C++IDE, so current alarming of wire rope fault、database memory、network transmission and detection report are developed in the software system. The φ28mm wire rope is detected by the system in the lab, so the actual detection result of the wire rope magnetic leakage detection system is tested.Finally, the research work of this paper is summarized, and some expectations are put forward for further research.
