In recent years, with the rapid growth of the wireless network technology as well as computer technique, promoting the development of multi-functional, low-power, micromation and low-cost embedded wireless terminal,so that the technique is widely used in various fields such as environmental monitoring,safety precaution, industrial control, home intelligence and medical care sensor areas. To meet user need of rapidly developing the wireless sensor terminal and be convenient for building an ad-hoc network this subject use XBeePro as the ZigBee wireless module.ZigBee protocol is based on IEEE802.15.4,which provides the detail definition for physical layer and medium access layer, the network layer provides application function interface for the application layer. Because of its well-defined and considerable safety assure technical features, ZigBee is a key technology of wireless sensor network with a wide and bright developing.Using the S3C6410development board and embedded Linux platform connected with ZigBee wireless module XBeePro and CMOS camera OV9650, this subject design and implement a wireless sensor network used for the read-time monitoring of target site. S3C6410processor is based on ARM11architecture, its extension interface makes it easy to connect with CMOS camera OV9650and XBeePro module; The open platform of embedded Linux OS provides great convenience for the transform and development of applications.This paper detailed to describe the establishment of ZigBee wireless network protocol, the construction of the embedded development environment, the usage of V4L2and LIBJPEG;Using Linux OS’s network programming technique to send and receive instructions control other program to implementing the acquisition,processing,and storge of image,then transmit the image through TCP/IP network architecture;Using the serial port programming technique to control the XBeePro module implement above-mentioned procedure then send the image through wireless ad-hoc network.
