With the rapid progress in today’s society, the role of the network is more and more important in people’s lives, people do various activities like communication、files transfer、news finding through the network. The advantages and disadvantages of the network performance will significantly affect the quality of people’s lives.The router is irreplaceable node Internet equipment. There are mainly following three effects:1. Interconnection between different networks and isolation;2Forward data according to the network address;3. Choose the routing of information transfer. Router performance is in the central position in the network performance, so, network technology and network operating company attaches great importance to the test router’s function and performance, and through the router testing research to control network performance.Cloud computing is an on-demand service mode,with demand self-service, anywhere, anytime with any network device access. Therefore, with the idea of cloud computing, the router test ing becomes simple, procedural. I participated in the U.S. telecom operators CenturyLink family gateway project, responsible for routers testing and modem testing.This thesis topics comes from the automated testing of network routers, performance analysis, as well as with research and development operations and the problem of late regression actual technology development needs analysis, positioning and solve.The thesis first analyzes the working principle of the router, router architecture, business flow classification techniques, queue management, queue scheduling technology and other key technology, and then combine the concept of cloud computing and router products testing,design the network performance test system on cloud computing. The main research work and the results are as follows:1. Complete the analysis and design work of the router test system;2. Complete the design of the router product testing system and network performance test systems;3. Develop the core code and simulation of network performance test systems.
