In this paper,we use two mm-sequences construct a new kind of bidirectional output key flow generator on GF(3), suppose both A=a0a1a2a3…and C=c0c1c2c3…are mm-sequence,to k=0,1,2…, the output models are as followsrif aκ=l,the generator outputs the aκ-1;if aκ=2,the generator outputs the aκ+i;otherwise,the generator outputs the current time of the sequence C.This paper gives the pseudo-randomness of the new bidirection-al output self-shrinking sequences,for example, the period,the linear complexities,balance properties,self-correlations and so on. And mainly studied the run distributions.It is shown that the new sequence has a huge period,a high linear complexity,a good balance property and good run distributions.
