The modern production with high technology and large quantity requires highersecurity than before, as well as Human Resource and Enterprise Social Responsibilityare paying more attention to the health of employee, sustainable environment andharmony society.Company G’s security management is based on each site stand alone, each sitehas themselves security management. However the stand alone management has bigvariations. There are6plants with different products and foot print, some of themhave completed security system as well as security management process andprocedure; but the others just have less security guards for gates checking, even nosecurity system installed. The big difference on security management causedCompany G’s security loose of control. To meet both the cost effective and securityguidance, Company G has to face the problem that how to realize the multi sitessecurity management in one platform.The paper is start from Company G’s introduction, security mission and visions,then according to the related management theories, such as security/risk managementtheory, ISO and Corporate Social Responsibilities related security requirements, tobuild up the Company G’s Distributed Security Management System. The DistributedSecurity Management System has a big difference with the single site securitymanagement system, which is to realize multi sites security management on oneplatform, to assess each site’s critical level and equip appropriate security system.Every sites of Company G are assessed based on their function/product and riskrequirements, to divide into3security levels, which are Mission Critical, RiskConditional and Routine Operational. The Distributed Security Management Systemis designed on their critical level, based on Company G’s intranet, managed by onesecurity team in China, to meet Company G’s security guidance on cost effectivebasis.
