| During the process of system change in our country, continuously the residents’life quality is enhancing and consumption structure is optimizing, while there is“abnormal†performance in the consumption area. Especially since the collapse oftraditional welfare system, from the consumption course of our residents, it can benoticed that they have weak desire and insufficient confidence in consumption,resulting in the continual lowering trend whether in consumption contribution rate,residents’ consumption rate or average and marginal propensity to consume.Therefore, established in the great background of the system change, this thesis setsthe urban residents as the research objectives, who are the mainstay in residents’consumption, based on the Precautionary Saving Theory, Liquidity ConstraintsTheory and Behavioral Economics view, through the reflection of both the theoreticaland empirical analyses, elaborates in the route combining the external objective andinternal subjective factors and thus deeply analyzes the reasons causing theinsufficient consumption of urban residents. There into external objective factorscarry out qualitative and quantitative analyses on the influencing factors and extent ofconsumption behavior of our urban residents from the aspects of uncertainty andfluidity, while internal subjective factors mainly discuss the inner reasons for theweak consumption from the economics views of “loss aversion†and “mental accountâ€.Finally, it aims at offering the related policy suggestion for expanding the domesticdemand, thus to advance macroeconomic operation quality and promote thesustainable sound development of national economy. |
