To better introduce the reader to the caseⅠhave reported extensive findings on emerging markets’Outward Foreign Direct Investments and Chinese multinationals competitive advantage peculiarities. The first part of the thesis is then committed to explaining the theory that has grown more and more in recent years on the subject and to trying to find a definitive framework. The second part fully digs into the matter of the case. The methodology used to address some specific issues, such as evaluating psychic distance and tracing a company’s value scorecard can successfully be applied to similar cases within the Chinese environment. The findings prove interesting given that the theoretical frameworks and analysis tools were always used for developed countries’multinationals going abroad and not the reverse.
