More than 90 percent of the international trade of goods transported by sea, the shipping industry is the main artery of the global economy. In the recent years, Chinese shipping market has developed rapidly under the pushing of the Chinese and International economy and trades. Especially in the wake of the 2008 financial crisis, Chinese shipping market has brought hope and unprecedented opportunities to the shipping industry. The shipping industry is a capital-intensive industry, a huge demand for funds. The financing of the shipping companies has become a very important content of the shipping business activities. On the one hand, financing is a long cycle and complex activities;on the other hand it has the wide financing channels, various forms of financing, and the complex and changeable financing structure.This paper analyzes the status of the financing structure about the domestic and international shipping companies. Compared with foreign shipping companies, our shipping companies’has a lot of problems, such as high imbalance of the financing structure, in the proportion of bank loans, relatively small bond financing and more difficult decision-making, which needs establish a rational, scientific financing structure optimization model.The paper puts forward targets of model. Firstly, according to entropy theory, build a group of experts optimization model;Secondly, consider the cost of financing, financing risks, and economic environment, corporate earnings capacity and solvency and other factors. The paper puts the evaluation system into the financing structure optimization model to make the model more reasonable;finally, based on the principles of science and rationality, builds the optimization model of financing structure and selects the object of study in order to test the accuracy and usefulness of the model.Above all,based on the theory of the financing structure and the financing structure optimization model and combined with the financing environment, the paper puts forward proposals and measures on the financing structure of the shipping companies.
