With the rapid development of China’s economy, the competition amongenterprises is more and more intense. The way to effectively improve theperformance of the enterprise has attracting the concern of every manager. So, as away to effectively improve the business efficiency, employee innovation behavior is ahot-spot of managers. As practice requires theoretical guidance, the generationmechanism of employee innovation behavior is an important research topic in theacademic field, and the scholars have achieved fruitful results through the unremittingefforts.Existing research results confirmed that psychological empowerment can produce apositive effect on employee innovation behavior. However, after reading the existingliterature, I find that current research is still limited to the confirmatory studies on therelationship between psychological empowerment and employee innovation behavior,and the study on the mechanism of Interaction has been relatively rare. The existingstudies have studied the influence that psychological ownership on employeebehavior. But they mostly focused on employee performance and organizationalcitizenship behavior, neglecting employee innovation behavior, which is a importantemployee behavior In addition, in the current literature the relationship betweenpsychological empowerment and psychological ownership and psychologicalownership’s function in the relationship between psychological empowerment andemployee innovation behavior are rarely involved. To fill these research gaps, I findtheoretical framework of this study on the basis of summarizing and analyzing theexisting research results. and study the relationship of psychological empowerment,psychological ownership and employee Innovative Behavior.In this study, we used the existing scales as measurement tools, and chose theemployees of a private enterprise in Jilin Province as the objects of study.At last wecollected a total sample of196. In the process of data analysis, we did a series ofanalyses with the help of the SPSS18.0data, such as a descriptive statistical analysis, reliability analysis, factor analysis, correlation analysis, and regression analysis.Combining with analysis results of this study, we got the following conclusions:(1) Psychological empowerment has a positive effect on employee innovationbehavior. The dimension of meaning and the dimension of self efficacy have apositive effect on employee innovation behavior; neither self-determination norimpact has an obvious positive effect on employee innovation behavior.(2)Psychological empowerment has a positive effect on psychologicalownership;(3)Psychological ownership on employee innovation behavior has a positiveimpact on employee psychological ownership;(4)Psychological ownership plays a partial mediating role, in the relationshipbetween psychological empowerment and employee innovation behavior.In this study, we discussed the results of the analysis, and elaborated on theimplications for managers. In the end, accounting of the limitations of the study, wepointed out the future research directions.
