Electronic Reverse Auction Strategy For Raw Material Products Of CMCC

Along with the development of information technology and the Internet, electronic reverse auction, is increasingly applied as an important procurement bidding method in the centralized procurement of China Mobile for raw material products.In the first place of this paper, the author briefly introduced the concept of reverse auction and the application conditions. Then, the China Mobile Ariba e-procurement platform, including its optional presets feature selection principles, was given a brief explanation and analysis. After study of the requirements of application environment, the author builds a feasibility judgment model. Based on the study, the author developed and applied strategy for feeder cable reverse auction in 2007 China Mobile Ariba e-procurement. The process and result of feeder cable reverse auction were summarized at the end. At the same time, the author diagnosed and discussed the potential risks and problems in the bidding practice and designed the risk prevention solutions and plans.The design, research and practice of the electronic reverse auction strategy provided useful experience for similar biddings in the future. It is also a helpful exploration of further standardizing the management of electronic reverse auction, saving centralized procurement cost and improving the efficiency of centralized purchasing.
