The auto sales logistics is an important component of auto logistics. It is attached to the automobile factory upstream and downstream to market consumers. The sales logistics is the key to the achievement of auto value. Its operational efficiency directly related to the organic recycling of auto logistics and to the reproduction of auto products. Therefore, auto manufacturers must promote the optimization and improvement of sales logistics constantly, in order to raise the level of logistics, save the logistics operating cost, improve customer service quality, and enhance the market competitiveness of enterprise ultimately.M company is an important enterprise in China’s own brand of auto market. In recent years, the auto production and sales volume increases year by year. But the sales logistics system is lagging behind. Therefore, this paper regards M company as research object, uses empirical analysis, and research the sales logistics optimization respectively from theoretical explanations, analysis and diagnosis, and optimized to improve levels.Firstly this paper elaborated the theoretical knowledge of auto sales logistics, auto sales logistics optimization, and logistics systems engineering. Then this paper specifically described M company and the status of sales logistics operations, and pointed the problems of sales logistics through systematic analysis. On this basis, this paper further researched the optimization program of auto sales logistics of M company using engineering ideas and methods. Through model building and algorithm design, the program focused on the short-term prediction of auto demand and inventory management. And then the improvement of sales logistics organization, Transportation Optimization and information construction was respectively discussed in detail. Finally the expected result of the optimization program was assessed qualitatively. This paper expects to give some references for the sales logistics optimization and development of M company and other auto manufacturers.
