Study On The Countermeasure Of Improving The Management Of Taxi Industry In Jilin Province

In recent years, along with the accelerating urbanization process andincreasing living standard of human beings, taxi industry has rapid development,leading to an important status in the economic and social development. However,a lot of conflicts and problems also accumulate in the industrial management anddevelopment process. Emergencies including collective petition and strikegenerated from various problems due to application of managerial authority,contractual operation of enterprise, illegal operation, and soaring price of fuel oilgreatly influence the stability of society and reflect the problems which shall besolved urgently in industrial management. Which measures and means shall theindustrial management department apply to further strengthen the tax industrymanagement and promote the healthy and orderly development of roadtransportation industry? It is the main problem to be discussed in the paper.The paper introduced development history, operational management mode,and policy and measure in foreign developed countries (including Japan, NewYork, Shanghai, Hong Kong) and domestic metropolis (Shanghai, Hong Kong),and learnt from advanced management experience to provide reference to thedevelopment of taxi industry in Jilin. The current management status of taxiindustry in Jilin was studied from the aspects including organizational authority,legal evidence, current management system, and management mode to analyze thedifficulty and focus in industrial development and propose specific problems in industrial management including: insufficient legal evidence, unsuccessfulmanagement system, unreasonable development positioning, irregularmanagement mode, and insufficient service quality. Meanwhile, the reason wasanalyzed profoundly to find the driving point for industrial development.Development countermeasures were proposed including: improving legal system,carding internal management system, reasonably determining developmentpositioning, setting up driving force input system, reforming taxi pricemanagement form, performing corporate operation, and improving service quality.As the important component of urban public traffic, taxi will play a greaterrole in social and economic development. Through analysis and study on currentmanagement status of taxi industry in Jilin, the paper proposed developmentcountermeasure to provide certain guidance for industrial development.
