At the good background of China’s rapid economic development, take fulladvantage of the cheap and quality labor and resource advantages makes full useof cheap labor and resources advantage of high quality has achieved greatdevelopment. It has become one of the best and fastest growing in the nationalindustry. But Compared to the well-known pharmaceutical companies andinternational, Pharmaceutical enterprises in China’s overall competitivenesslevel is still at a low level, the main reasons shall be under the authority of thesystem defects traceable to China’s pharmaceutical industry and the level ofperformance management backward as well as operational efficiency is not highMedical enterprises in our country have become an important part of thenational economy. In the pharmaceutical industry, medical products are soldmainly by the way of marketing personnel. Therefore, to do the sales staffperformance management and performance appraisal of the pharmaceuticalcompanies can more directly and more effectively to improve thecompetitiveness and overall profitability of the pharmaceutical companies.This paper, starting with the theories of performance appraisal andmarketing staff performance and clarifying the basis of performance appraisalmethod in the assessment of the status of the operation of pharmaceuticalmarketing appraisal and the performance of pharmaceutical markets, andcombined with the analysis of three representative pharmaceutical company’songoing performance evaluation index system, points out that the problems ofpharmaceutical marketing personnel evaluation index system and does inaccordance with scientific method. This paper improves and redesigns thepharmaceutical marketing personnel performance evaluation index system basedon the idea of the balanced scorecard KPI system. This paper probes into thepharmaceutical marketing personnel performance evaluation indicator systemfrom the perspective of close combination of theory and the practice.Performance evaluation indicators designed can inspire the Chinesepharmaceutical companies furiously in the fierce competition, and promote staff development, realize the value of employees to improve and enhance themanagement level of enterprise marketing performance to achieveorganizational strategic and operational objectives. Thus it can improve China’sworld medicine industry status of the value chain and make China became a truesense of medicine power.
