Study On Supply Chain Inventory Management Of Distribution System Of Short Life-cycle Products

Short life-cycle products, with the characteristics of quick updating, fluctuated demand, high risk, put forward higher requirements on enterprise for the inventory management. Accurate prediction of the demand is the foundation of effective inventory management. On this basis, the application of inventory control method can play a role of inventory management. While the collaboration and quick response among the enterprises in the supply chain is the security of effective inventory management, and is necessary for Short life-cycle products.Based on the mobile phone as the research object, the paper firstly introduces the mobile phone’feature of short life cycle and the distribution system inventory status of domestic mobile phone; then analyzes the its problems and causes. In order to solve the above problems, this paper introduces the concept of "Collaborative Planning, Forecasting and Replenishment (CPFR)", and specifies it, including demand forecasting, order planning, replenishment, exception recognition and information sharing, etc. Based on these five points, the article provides the optimal scheme for the domestic mobile phone enterprise on their supply chain inventory management.On the basis of theoretical analysis, we analyze the background, status and problems of the distribution system inventory management in view of a specific mobile phone production enterprise. And then, around the idea of CPFR, we introduce the BASS prediction model, the W-W method of inventory control and information platform for supply chain management. Combined with practice of the company, we enhance enterprise’s inventory management level from a technical analysis perspective; build the distribution system inventory management mechanism for mobile phone enterprises based on CPFR, which is meaningful for the Chinese mobile phone enterprises development and mobile phone industry international competitiveness enhancement.
