Although Business Process Reengineering (BPR) brings about a revolution in the area of enterprise management, many companies that wish to realize BRP hesitate because there are many unsuccessful cases. Many enterprises wish to improve their performance through optimizing processes.The payment process from Huawei Company to Cooperative Company is one small process in its Integrated Supply Chain (ISC) Process.The old protracted payment process affected the cooperative relationship between Huawei and its Cooperative companies,with some Cooperative companies confronted with the collapse of their company.In order to solve this problem Huawei changed its payment process.Although Huawei was able to build ERP platform to better this process in the early years after2000it did not grasp advanced management models at that time.So Huawei used the experience of IBM for reference and spent five years to redesigning its processes.The evolution of the process is based on precise planning and strategy management.This article analyzes some successful models and experiences of BRP in Huawei Company, and attempts to give some valuable models for other enterprises that are preparing for BPR.This article contrasts the two different payment processes, explains the development of the payment process from Huawei Company to Cooperative Companies, and demonstrates that an enterprise needs to improve its processes according to its own strategy plans. The article concludes that an enterprise can considerably improve its performances only when it designs its process by combining strategy plans and effective management.
