Recently, the international community pay much attention to the change of climate which is not just an ecological problem at the national, regional or international, but evolve into the current international politics, economy, diplomatic and a hot spot of national security.As the main part of land ecosystem, forest ecosystem play an irreplaceable role in regulating the balance of global carbon mitigation, relieving concentrations of greenhouse gases such as CO2as well as global-climate maintenance. At the same time, the problem of Forest carbon sequestration has been associated with climate change, and it also become the frontiers of research in the field of forestry economy in such ecological, social, political and economic parts.As one of the six major forest regions of China, Jilin province is an important forestry base. Its forest resources gift of Jilin province is a favorable conditions on development of forest carbon sinks and tackle the issue of climate change. Therefore, while our country vigorously develop forest carbon sinks, we use the combination of qualitative and quantitative analysis method to study forest carbon sink capacities of forest industry regions in Jilin province, which is the determination of Jilin forest industry regions forest carbon sinks potential, and it is also the important basis of forest carbon sinks to mature in continually implement and deepen development.This article takes the forest resource in Jilin Forestry Industry Regions as the object of study. With the help of the forest carbon sink and relevant theories and research results, and through the forest resource of Jilin Forestry Industry Regions and forest biomass inventory calculation, we can get the preliminary analysis on regional forest resources and forest carbon sink situation.On this basis, I construct a multiple linear regression model of forest carbon storage, according to the target data of the Jilin forest industry in "12th Five-Year" period putting the data show above into the model and get the prediction of carbon storage in the planning period. By comparing the differences between calculation value of forest carbon storage and prediction value, I get the error analysis according to the data above.Finally, I can easily come to the specific recommendations for the further improvement of forest carbon sinks work, which can give Jilin Forestry Industry Regions some reference in forest carbon sink during "Twelve-Five" during "12th Five-Year" period. At the same time, this article enriches the forest carbon measurement theory, providing certain reference and the basis to other regions so that the carbon measurement work can carry out successfully.
