Production planning is a decision-making problem in productionmanagement. How to draw up suitable production schedule to giveenterprises the most satisfactory results is one of the main task ofmanagers. Because of the dynamics and complexity of market, thereare lots of uncertain factors in the process of making productionplanning. In traditional production planning problem the uncertaintiesare considered as random variables. For lack of enough statistical date,some researchers suppose that the uncertainties are fuzzy variables.However, fuzzy set theory can hardly explain many subjective uncertainphenomena. In order to deal with the subjective uncertain phenomenabetter, Liu proposed the uncertainty theory. After continuing to beexplored and researched by a number of scholars and research teams,uncertainty theory has made great development and has been widelyused in various fields.The uncertainties are assumed to be uncertain variables withknown uncertainty distribution in this paper. we mainly discuss theproduction planning problem which accompany uncertain factorsbased on uncertainty theory and uncertain programming. In real lifeand production, when we deal with some small simple problems,linearprogramming is widely used because it is easy to be used and solvingmethod is simple and diverse. So we firstly establish the linearprogramming model of production planning in uncertain environment.Then the actual application and the specific algorithms are given. Butwith the economic and social development, in many practicalproblems, it is difficult to measure a program as good or bad accordingto one index. So we need to compare multiple objectives which are notvery coordinated, sometimes even contradictory. At this timemulti-objective programming model is required to be considered. Based on actual production background of linear programming model,In considering the various goals we establish the multi-objectiveprogramming model in uncertain environment and the method ofachieve the target was used to solve this model. Because ulti-objectiveprogramming only have satisfactory solution, have not the optimalsolution. Although the solving method is various, but no one is perfect.Goal programming is one of method to solve multi-objective problem, itis widely used because its thought is convincing. In considering thevarious goals we respectively establish the expected-value goalprogramming model and chance-constraint goal programming modelbased on actual production background of multi-objective model.Then we give some actual numerical examples illustrate the model sapplication.
