Research On Smart Grid Construction And Management Project Of Z City

It has been the development trend for power grid allover the world to construct smart grid. Smart grid is not fashion, on the contrary,it dose real benefits to both electrical enterprise and society. State Grid is now creating "strong and smart grid", and it will provide strategic guidance for municipal gird corporation.First, this paper describes the meaning and related theories of smart grid, points out the status quo and development trend in our country and in USA, Japan.Secondly, based on the status quo of Z city’s economic development and its unique industrial layout, the paper analyses the problems in Z city’s grid. According to the historical data, it forecasts the power load in the future. It is necessary to build smart grid for the safety, efficiency and stability of the power network. On these facts, this research provides the programs of upgrading items of basic grid, construction of communication network, construction of related special items, and organizational measures of z city’s smart grid construction.
