Science And Technology Development Of Agriculture In Haimen, Jiangsu Province In The Last Decade

Haimen lies in the north shore of Yangtze river’s retail, it was one of the most rapidly developing areas in middle Jiangsu. Based on the collection, sorting and comparison of nearly ten years agricultural science and technology information of Haimen, we analysis the agriculture sci-tech environment, achievements and prominent problems existed, five suggestions were proposed to speed up the future development of agricultural sci-tech of Haimen, accelerate the transformation from traditional agriculture to modern agriculture, promote the coordinated development and rapidly increase farmers’incomes. The main conclusion follows:1.In recent ten years, aimed at the development of modern agriculture, Haimen in accordance with the "self-innovation, accelerated the transformation, promote the industries and early crossing", strengthened the environmental construction of agricultural sc-tech, such as the policy, research institutions and grass-root agri-science teams, overall improved the innovation ability of agricultural sci-tech, application ability and services ability, and has made conspicuous achievements in crop cultivation techniques, variety and fertilizer innovation and improvement, pest control and dissemination of agricultural technology.2.Haimen agricultural sci-tech has made tremendous development in recent ten years growth, advance the breed and technology promotion, optimize the agricultural production structure, and improve the output and the quality. Totally improve the overall agricultural productivity. However, the agricultural technology have a low utilization factor, primary agricultural products in short supply, lowness of quality of farmers, the scientific research department of articulate got on initiative and the technology popularization results of the agricultural department is low.3.In the new period should capitalize on technological strength, for guidance in the market mechanism and technological innovation as a motive force to promote agricultural regionalization layout, standardized and forming advantages in agricultural production and agriculture industry group sustainable development, need to improve the coordination of research and extension systems.Increased agricultural science and technology to yield effective results; facilities and improve the agricultural development of agriculture and the income of farmers; more modern agricultural production system, the bulk of the effective supply; enhance agricultural resources,environmental and ecological environmental building and promote sustainable development of agriculture; information technology development and application of information, agriculture and rural level.
