Through performance evaluation, business managers can understand the enterprise’s own business situation, and based on an analysis to identify shortcomings and improved point, investors can adjust their performance results of investment decisions. In the performance evaluation, to identify the factors affecting the performance, suggest improvements targeted approach is an effective manner.to improve enterprise management level.As the capital of Jiangsu Province and one of the major economies in the Yangtze River Delta, Nanjing’s economic status is important. But in recent years, Nanjing slowing down the pace of development in the Yangtze River Delta cities in the rapid development of other circumstances. In order to study the economic development of Nanjing, the status quo, this paper choose36listed companies in Nanjing as sample, studying its performance and influencing factors analysis, trying to find a way guide Nanjing’s economic development sustainable,healthy and rapid.In this paper,the performance analysis of listed companies in Nanjing, not only from the traditional sense of a certain year or a trade that perspective, but in a certain theory, based on the annual reports of listed companies in2006-2008years, the data comparative analysis to identify the development of listed companies in recent years. Adopt the financial data of2008of listed companies on the Nanjing-based factor analysis of the performance analysis of the results from the factor analysis to identify the gap between the companies within the various industries in Nanjing; Then according to the gap,analysis the underlying reasons, that the factors affecting performance; At last, according to the results of the analysis, put forward a feasible policy recommendations.In this paper, draw the following conclusions:a comprehensive ranking of the performance and profitability as well as the ability to grow with a strong correlation; sound capital structure and operational capacity of the enterprise to improve performance guarantees; Nanjing listed companies in various industries development levels; circulation Unit ratio and a positive correlation between corporate performance; asset-liability ratio and firm performance negative correlation; net asset growth and performance of listed companies are related. For the above conclusions, this paper attempts to both macroeconomic and microeconomic point of view to improve the performance of listed companies in Nanjing policy proposals:a macro perspective, the relevant policies to actively regulate the establishment of a fair and reasonable system environment, science and adjust the industrial structure to promote industrial upgrading, and improve enterprise capability of independent innovation to improve the mode of growth; the micro level to improve the company’s human resource management, deepen the reform to improve the company’s equity ownership structure, risk-awareness to improve the capital structure.
