Empirical Study For The Relationship Between Capital Structure And Reality Competiveness Of Banks Of Listed Companies

One of the inspirations financial crisis which occurred in2008gave to people is that banks and other financial institutions occupy positions as important as indeed affecting the whole body in the development of national economy and the world economy. To improve the competitiveness of banks or the banking industry plays a pivotal role in promoting and maintaining a country’s economic stability and healthy development, moreover enhancing a country’s international influence; As Chinese banks have carried out international strategy, competing with the large international renowned banks positivly, competition is increasing, thereby the domestic and foreign environment requires urgently that the banks should enhance the competitiveness The capital structure influnces the competitiveness by two mechanisms,namely direct and indirect impact:Firstly, different capital structures reflect the differences of financing patterns and financing structure,then lead to different financing costs and risks,for which the ultimate expression is the disparity in competition power; secondly, capital structure indirectly plays an impact on business performance and competitiveness through the governance structure of the corporate. In this paper, combining the special nature of banks of listed companies,we will explain the capital structure and reality competitiveness current situation of the banks of listed companies. Besides, we will select samples and variables according to need, then make a linear regression model, and drawn the empirical evidence conclusion,so that we can get the relationship between capital structure and the reality competitiveness for the banks of listed companies. On this basis, in order to enhance the realistic competitiveness of banks,we make some relevant countermeasures to optimize the capital structure banks of listed companies.
