The Empirical Research On Structure Change And Economic Benefit Of Guangdong Manufacturing Industry

The constant upgrading of manufacturing industry’s structure is the engine of theeconomic growth, the improvement of industry’s whole economic benefits follows thesuccessful industry transition, this article is based on this theory.Firstly, this article explains the theory of manufacturing industry developmentand studies the regional development model of manufacturing industry. Then thisarticle carries on the empirical research on22Guangdong manufacturing industries,analyzes the relation between the structure change of Guangdong manufacturingindustry and the yielding growth, the change of the interior structure of Guangdongmanufacturing industry, the homogeneity of the industrial structure, and the locationquotient of Guangdong manufacturing industry.Secondly, respectively examine the economic benefits levels of22manufacturing industries in2000and2009of Guangdong, with the factor analysis bySPSS11.0, and isolate the factors of reflection economic benefits, list the economicbenefits precedence of22manufacturing industries, and then compare the economicbenefits in2000and2009. This article proved whether the structure change of themanufacturing industry of Guangdong has brought the promotion of the economicbenefits. And indeed this kind of transition has brought the promotion of the economicbenefits, especially the ecnomic efficiency of electronic and mechanical industryimprove significantly. This proves the transition of Guangdong industrial structurepromote efficiency.Then this article analyzes the correlation between location quotient andeconomic benefits of the year2009with correlation analysis by SPSS11.0, the resultshow they are correlation.Finally, summarize the development model of manufacturing industry inGuangdong and propose the measure and policy recommendations for thedevelopment of the manufacturing industry of Guangdong.This article has following innovation, firstly from the breadth and the depth. Andstudy the manufacturing industry structure and economic benefits, secondly，this article establish the model which appraise the manufacturing industry economicefficiency, and this article analyze the correlation between location quotient andeconomic benefits.
